La Dimora Retirement Resort welcomed guests to a memorable afternoon on Friday, August 1st, celebrating the beauty of winter with an exclusive wine tasting set in the heart of picturesque Hidden Valley. The event brought together future residents, local community members and wine lovers to savour the season’s finest flavours in an elegant and welcoming atmosphere.
Guests were treated to a curated selection of premium wines from the renowned Melbourne wine region. From bold, full-bodied reds to crisp, elegant whites, each wine was chosen to reflect the richness and complexity of the winter season. The experience was led by Ross Dunning, Senior Manager of Arcadia Group Villages in Victoria, whose background includes extensive experience in the food and beverage industry. Drawing on his deep knowledge and love for wine, Ross guided attendees through an engaging tasting journey that brought each glass to life.
The Grove Bar and Bistro elevated the experience with a beautifully crafted menu of canapés, expertly paired to complement the wines. Each dish enhanced the overall experience and allowed guests to fully appreciate the relationship between food and wine.
Following the tasting, guests were invited to explore La Dimora’s newly furnished and styled display villas in Stage 4. With only a limited number of homes remaining across Stages 3 and 4 where many offers uninterrupted views over the valley, attendees were given a first-hand look at the elegant, low-maintenance lifestyle on offer. The villas reflect La Dimora’s vision of modern retirement living, architecturally designed homes surrounded by nature, community, and high-end resort facilities.
