This week is National Volunteer Week.
National Volunteer Week is the largest annual celebration of Volunteers by Volunteering Australia. It is a weeklong celebration that acknowledges and recognises the vital support that millions of volunteers in Australia provide to their local community.
We have many residents across our villages who do amazing volunteer work every day, both within their village as well as in the local community.
This week we held a morning tea at our Arcadia Waters Mandurah village with 20 of our fantastic residents to acknowledge and thank them for their hard work and dedication to their incredible volunteer work. It was a great morning celebrating and listening to all the wonderful volunteer work that goes on within the village and wider community with plenty of laughs, coffee and of course a biscuit or two!
