In a strong testament to the benefits of living in a vibrant retirement community, seven individuals have achieved the commendable milestone of residing 20 years at Arcadia Waters Maddington.

The retirement community celebrated its pioneer residents at an award ceremony held at the climax of its anniversary fair. Organised and manned by its residents, the Village Anniversary Fair was bustling with market stalls such as cake, plants and craft and many activities such as morning tea, barbeque lunch and entertaining games.

Arcadia Waters Maddington is the first retirement village established under Arcadia Group which has since grown to managing and operating nine retirement communities across Australia. Arcadia Group was born from a sincere desire to create a beautiful community where retirees could feel genuinely cared for and cherished. This heartfelt philosophy continues to shape every decision and action made at every Arcadia Group village.

“It is a relaxing way to live,” said Kay Pen-Dennis, the first resident to move into Arcadia Waters Maddington. “I have a lot of friends and the staff are always there for you. I’ve never regretted it for a moment.”
In this resort-style community, the physical environment has been carefully curated to foster an active and healthy lifestyle, to encourage daily walks, pathways are safe and easy to navigate through lush and beautiful gardens and koi ponds. In addition, the village has a strong support network, and its resident clubhouse is a hub for various social activities providing opportunities for interaction and bonding.

“Since its inception, we have strived to create a secure environment that fosters a healthy and fulfilling lifestyle. The longevity of these seven residents is a living testament to the success of our approach” said Roger Kwok, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Arcadia Group. “As Arcadia Group continues to grow and thrive, we remain committed to maintaining and creating more opportunities for individuals to make their golden years more fulfilling.”
