A Great Turnout at Affinity Village Baldivis Open Day
Our Affinity Village Baldivis Open Day on Saturday, 17 October 2026, saw a great turnout, with residents, families and visitors coming together for a busy morning at the village.
There was plenty to explore, from handmade crafts and unique gifts to food stalls and sweet treats. Stallholders enjoyed a successful day, with several selling out of their products, particularly the popular pastries.
A Big Effort from Our Residents
Our residents played a big part in bringing the event together, with weeks of preparation leading up to the Open Day.
The village craft group, who meet every Monday, put together an impressive collection of handmade items, while residents and neighbours contributed a wide selection of homemade cakes, slices and other treats.

Residents also prepared and served Devonshire teas, complete with freshly baked scones, jam, cream and strawberries. These proved popular with visitors and sold out on the day.

A special mention also goes to our resident volunteers, who stepped up on the day to help with preparations, assist visitors and keep everything running smoothly. Their willingness to lend a hand played an important part in the success of the Open Day.
Welcoming Visitors to the Village
Beyond the market stalls, the Open Day gave visitors an opportunity to explore Affinity Village Baldivis, meet the village team and learn more about retirement living.
It was a busy and enjoyable morning, with plenty of conversations and opportunities for visitors to experience the village community firsthand.
Thank you to our residents, stallholders, village team and everyone who attended. We look forward to welcoming you to future community events!
