Arcadia Waters is the brainchild of Roger Kwok, an experienced developer and entrepreneur who saw a gap in the market for a resort-styled over 55’s village while exploring villages for his own aging parents.

After graduating from Curtin University in 1980, he began his career as the financial controller of a large motor vehicle group. Five years later he became a director of the group in control of marketing and in 1992 he established his own healthcare and property development business.

Maddington Village Managers

Graeme and Jan Patten live on site at Arcadia Waters in Maddington. Prior to joining the Arcadia Waters, Graeme worked for the Ministry of Justice where, in his last appointment, he specialised in public relations and security. Jan had a career in banking spanning some 30 years. Together they take care of all management issues and look after the security and welfare of the village and its residents.

Alan & Andre McIntyre, managers of Arcadia Waters in Geraldton

Geraldton Village Managers

With experience of managing a retirement village in Queensland, Alan and Andre moved to Western Australia in early 2008 and are now living at Arcadia Waters in Geraldton. Together they will look after the security, upkeep and administration of the village and the interests of the village residents.

Ces Phipps - Director, Sales and Marketing

Marketing & Sales

Ces has over 30 years experience in the retirement industry. He is both a founding and a life member of the Retirement Village Association of WA where he served as its inaugural President. He was also a ministerial appointee to the Government Advisory Committee (1987-1992) for the establishment of the Residential Villages Act (1992). His specialised knowledge of aged care and the retirement industry is without peer.

Cynthia is the first point of contact for people interested in living at Arcadia Waters Geraldon or Port Denison. Perth born and now a Geraldton resident, Cynthia obtained her Real Estate Licence while working for Kalazich Smith & Associates in Geraldton and is now very excited to be part of the Arcadia Waters team and involved in what she describes as a “truly magnificent development”.
