Q: Can my pet come to Arcadia Waters with me?
A: Pets are welcome at Arcadia Waters! We must give written approval in each instance; however this is not to be unreasonably withheld.

Q: Do I have any choice in the selection of finished in my residence at Arcadia Waters?
A: If your residence at Arcadia Waters is yet to be built or has not past the critical stages of construction for the ordering of such things as electrical points, kitchen cupboards, tiling, paint colours, light fittings or carpets, a range of options are available for your selection, subject to cost adjustment where applicable.

Q: How much are the weekly fees?
A: Currently $65 per week per residence, which pays council rates and charges, water rates and consumption, and the building insurances for each residence together with your share of all other village operating costs such as management and staff, gardening an operation of the Arcadia Club for residents.

Q: Can I have quests stay with me?
A: Yes, you may have quests staying for up to 13 weeks each year. Management has the discretion to extend this in cases where it is needed.

Q: Why do I get a “Lease for Life” rather than a Strata Title?
A: Because your “Lease for Life” entitlement to your home at Arcadia Waters encompasses much more than just an entitlement to a small piece of real estate. It also entitles you to ongoing benefits of the Arcadia Waters Retirement Scheme. This clearly sets out our responsibility for the diligent and efficient management of the village for its residence, to the provision of a comprehensive range of services and facilities, to the security of resident’s occupancy and to the financial arrangements for operations of the village.
Your investment in your home at Arcadia Waters is protected under the Retirement Village Act 2002, which also secures your investment, along with that of the other residents, as first charge against the Village Title.

Q: Can I secure a residence at Arcadia Waters subject to the sale of my existing home?
A: Yes you can certainly reserve your new home or a “subject to sale” of your home existing in fact, this condition applies to most of the contracts we enter into.

Q: Can you help me sell my existing home?
A: In our wish to make your move to Arcadia Waters as seamless as possible we strongly suggest that intending residents discuss the marketing of their existing home with our highly qualifies and experienced associates. They have successfully co-ordinated the sale and move to Arcadia Waters for many of our present residents with excellent results for all concerned.

Q: What happens when I want to sell?
strong>A: You give us written notice of intention to sell, stating your proposed price and nominating the agent you want to have appointed to market your residence.
